At the wedding pavilion, CMD Manoj Kumar Agarwal and Deeksha Mahila Mandal President Archana Agarwal welcomed all couples with scarves and shawls before the couples exchanged garlands. Amid the sound of Shehnai, Vedic chanting and traditional songs, priests solemnised the marriages according to Hindu rituals.

“Organising this event on International Women’s Day has brought new happiness to ten families and marked the beginning of a new life for these couples,” she said, extending her best wishes to the newlyweds.

BCCL CMD Manoj Kumar Agarwal said that the initiative demonstrates the Mahila Mandal’s sensitivity towards social issues. He added that such programmes provide meaningful support to economically weaker sections while strengthening community bonding and social harmony.

He congratulated the members of Deeksha Mahila Mandal for successfully organising the programme and encouraged them to continue undertaking such socially meaningful initiatives in the future.

After the ceremony, Deeksha Mahila Mandal distributed essential household items to the newly married couples, including beds, utensils, clothes, cosmetics and ration supplies to help them begin their new lives.
