The presentations covered key aspects such as student–teacher ratios, infrastructure, availability of educational resources, co-curricular activities, and academic achievements. These issues were discussed in detail, leading to meaningful deliberations on the schools’ current status, requirements, and future development.

The issue of deficit grants was also raised by the schools during the discussions. Responding to these concerns, Director (HR) Murali Krishna Ramaiah stated that the management would undertake necessary reviews and procedural initiatives after considering the institutions’ actual needs while maintaining financial discipline. He emphasized that transparency, accountability, and effective utilization of resources are essential in matters related to deficit grants.

Ramaiah also stressed the need for regular quarterly and semi-annual inspections of all project schools in relation to deficit grant utilization. He directed that an audit committee be constituted at the headquarters level to periodically review the financial and administrative systems of the schools. The committee will provide recommendations aimed at making the institutions’ functioning more streamlined, transparent, and efficient.

Highlighting the importance of BCCL Project Schools in the education sector, Ramaiah said that these institutions play a vital role and must continue evolving by adopting modern educational practices. He further emphasized the need to promote mutual learning among schools and strengthen coordination among institutions.

He suggested that best teaching practices, innovations, and successful initiatives adopted by different schools should be shared, enabling all institutions to learn from each other’s experiences and improve their performance. Expressing confidence in the collective efforts of the schools, he said the institutions would continue to work towards achieving high standards of education while fulfilling their objective of providing quality education to students.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks.
