The ‘Nanhi Sa Dil’ project, implemented with the Sri Sathya Sai Health and Education Trust, has screened over 39,000 children for congenital heart diseases, with 115 successful surgeries conducted so far—completely free of cost.

Under this agreement, a state-of-the-art BrainsWay dTMS (Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) System will be installed at RINPAS, Ranchi. The system will be equipped with H1, H4, and H7 coils. This advanced technology is completely non-invasive and effectively targets deeper regions of the brain, aiding in the treatment of various mental health disorders.

The total project cost is ₹1,98,72,488 (including three years of Annual Maintenance Contract), which will be fully funded by CCL under its CSR program. This initiative reflects CCL’s strong commitment to public welfare and its proactive contribution to the healthcare sector.

The BrainsWay dTMS technology utilizes an advanced H-coil system that enables bilateral stimulation and modulation of neural networks in the brain. It has proven effective in treating conditions such as depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and nicotine addiction. The system is approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and its H-coil technology is also approved for smoking cessation.

Through this project, it is estimated that more than 600 patients suffering from severe mental illnesses will benefit annually. Additionally, dTMS treatment will be integrated with the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) and the Jharkhand State Health Scheme, ensuring accessible and affordable healthcare services for the general public.
