<p>P&amp;G SEHAT, the flagship healthcare-focused CSR initiative of Procter &amp; Gamble Health Limited, has successfully concluded its special ‘Women Care Week’, extending free primary healthcare services to over 10,000 underserved women across 10 locations in India.</p>

<p>Conducted in collaboration with HelpAge India, the initiative covered communities in Palghar, Goa, Chennai, Puri, Guwahati, Patna, Fatehpur, Mathura, Rudraprayag, and Jaipur.</p>

<p>The week-long outreach focused on delivering essential healthcare services to elderly women, pregnant and lactating mothers, and adolescent girls—groups that often face significant barriers to accessing timely medical care.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Comprehensive Healthcare Services Delivered</strong></h3>

<p>The camps provided a wide range of free healthcare services, including consultations with gynecologists, pediatricians, physicians, and nutritionists. Beneficiaries also received antenatal care (ANC) support and free diagnostic screenings such as hemoglobin tests for anemia, blood pressure monitoring, and blood sugar checks.</p>

<p>In addition, free medicines were distributed where necessary, and patients requiring further treatment were referred for continued care, ensuring long-term health support beyond the camps.</p>

<p>A strong emphasis was placed on nutrition awareness, educating women and adolescent girls about balanced diets and the importance of supplementary nutrition.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Focus on Digital Health Access</strong></h3>

<p>To enhance access to government healthcare services, the camps also facilitated on-site registration and awareness of the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA). This helped beneficiaries understand how to access and utilize digital health records and benefits under government schemes.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Leadership Perspective</strong></h3>

<p>Milind Thatte, Managing Director, P&amp;G Health India, highlighted the importance of the initiative, stating that access to primary healthcare remains a challenge in underserved communities, particularly for women.</p>

<p>He noted that ‘Women Care Week’ was designed to bridge this gap by bringing healthcare services directly to communities while also raising awareness about nutrition and digital health services like ABHA. He added that the initiative complements the organization’s ongoing Mobile Healthcare Units (MHUs), which continue to support community health across the country.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Long-Term Impact</strong></h3>

<p>The ‘Women Care Week’ camps are part of P&amp;G SEHAT’s broader mission to improve preventive healthcare and early diagnosis in underserved regions. Through its Mobile Healthcare Units, the initiative has already contributed to increased screening for anemia, hypertension, and diabetes, while promoting maternal and child health awareness.</p>

<p>By combining healthcare delivery with education and digital inclusion, P&amp;G SEHAT aims to empower women with the knowledge and resources needed to take charge of their health and well-being.</p>

<p>Taking a significant step towards promoting adolescent health and strengthening preventive healthcare practices, <strong>Aravali Power Company Private Limited (APCPL), Jhajjar</strong>, has launched a pilot project under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative focused on cervical cancer prevention.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="1024" height="681" src="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-3-1024x681.jpeg" alt="" class="wp-image-30818" srcset="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-3-1024x681.jpeg 1024w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-3-300x200.jpeg 300w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-3-768x511.jpeg 768w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-3-1536x1021.jpeg 1536w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-3.jpeg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>The programme will be implemented across Jhajjar district in Haryana with the objective of protecting adolescent girls from cervical cancer — a potentially life-threatening yet largely preventable disease.</p>

<p>As part of the initiative, girls in the age group of <strong>9 to 14 years</strong> will receive the <strong>Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine</strong>, which medical experts consider most effective when administered before exposure to the virus. Early immunisation significantly reduces the risk of developing cervical cancer later in life.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="681" src="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-8-1024x681.jpeg" alt="" class="wp-image-30819" srcset="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-8-1024x681.jpeg 1024w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-8-300x200.jpeg 300w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-8-768x511.jpeg 768w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-8-1536x1021.jpeg 1536w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-8.jpeg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>The project will be executed by <strong>Hindustan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust (HLFPPT)</strong> at the <strong>Primary Health Centre, Bahu</strong>. To formalise the collaboration, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was earlier signed between APCPL and HLFPPT, establishing a structured framework for implementation and outreach activities.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="681" src="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-13-1024x681.jpeg" alt="" class="wp-image-30820" srcset="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-13-1024x681.jpeg 1024w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-13-300x200.jpeg 300w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-13-768x511.jpeg 768w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-13-1536x1021.jpeg 1536w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/WhatsApp-Image-2026-02-20-at-2.26.15-PM-13.jpeg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Prior to the rollout of vaccination, an awareness session was organised at APCPL for the daughters participating in the <strong>Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM)</strong>. During the session, healthcare experts sensitised the participants about cervical cancer, its causes, preventive measures, and the importance of timely HPV vaccination.</p>

<p>The awareness programme aimed to dispel myths, build health awareness, and empower young girls to make informed decisions regarding their long-term well-being. The initiative reflects APCPL’s continued commitment to community health, women’s empowerment, and sustainable social development in the region.</p>

<p>Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) on Tuesday flagged off a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) ambulance under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to strengthen preventive and primary healthcare services in remote and underserved rural areas of Jharkhand.</p>

<p>The Mobile Medical Unit was formally flagged off by Director (Human Resources), Harsh Nath Mishra, in the presence of GM (CSR) S.S. Lal, senior officials, General Managers, Heads of Departments, and employees of CCL. The initiative underscores CCL’s continued commitment to public welfare and equitable healthcare access for communities residing in peripheral mining regions of the state.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="682" src="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/IMG-20251230-WA0051-1024x682.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-30667" srcset="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/IMG-20251230-WA0051-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/IMG-20251230-WA0051-300x200.jpg 300w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/IMG-20251230-WA0051-768x512.jpg 768w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/IMG-20251230-WA0051-1536x1023.jpg 1536w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/IMG-20251230-WA0051.jpg 1600w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Equipped with advanced diagnostic facilities, the MMU will provide breast cancer screening, tuberculosis screening through X-ray and RT-PCR, and essential laboratory investigations including diabetes testing, Complete Blood Count (CBC), haemoglobin estimation, and blood grouping. The unit will operate in villages surrounding the KBP Project area, covering Gomia Block of Bokaro district and Mandu Block of Ramgarh district.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="682" src="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/IMG-20251230-WA0049-1024x682.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-30668" srcset="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/IMG-20251230-WA0049-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/IMG-20251230-WA0049-300x200.jpg 300w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/IMG-20251230-WA0049-768x512.jpg 768w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/IMG-20251230-WA0049-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/IMG-20251230-WA0049-2048x1365.jpg 2048w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Implemented through Unique Welfare Foundation, the project will be operational for a period of 24 months. The Mobile Medical Unit will function six days a week, covering around 20 villages, with one visit to each village every month. Over the project duration, the initiative is expected to benefit nearly 37,000 people.</p>

<p>The CSR initiative aims to ensure early disease detection, timely referral and follow-up of identified cases, enhanced delivery of preventive healthcare in rural areas, and improved community-level health awareness.</p>

<p>Addressing the gathering, Harsh Nath Mishra said that CCL remains committed to undertaking impactful CSR initiatives in the areas of healthcare, education, and social development. He emphasized that the Mobile Medical Unit would play a crucial role in extending quality diagnostic and healthcare services to last-mile beneficiaries in rural Jharkhand.</p>
