<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As part of its flagship Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM) 2025, NTPC Bongaigaon conducted a comprehensive awareness session focused on child mental health, aimed at nurturing emotional well-being and promoting positive mental health outcomes among young participants.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="682" src="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0060-1024x682.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-30345" srcset="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0060-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0060-300x200.jpg 300w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0060-768x512.jpg 768w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0060.jpg 1280w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The interactive session explored critical topics such as Emotional Intelligence, where students learned the importance of identifying and managing their emotions. The participants were also introduced to practical coping mechanisms to address stress and anxiety, empowering them to handle challenges with confidence.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0058-1024x683.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-30346" srcset="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0058-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0058-300x200.jpg 300w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0058-768x512.jpg 768w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0058-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0058.jpg 1599w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Organised in collaboration with the Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club and the Medical Cell of the power station, the session was conducted by Ms. Udangshri Basumatary, Clinical Psychologist from KMCH, Kokrajhar. Smt. Kasturi Maitra, President of the Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club, along with club members, was present to encourage and bless the children.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0050-1024x683.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-30347" srcset="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0050-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0050-300x200.jpg 300w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0050-768x512.jpg 768w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0050-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG-20250710-WA0050.jpg 1599w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A strong emphasis was laid on Positive Self-Talk and daily affirmations, encouraging girls to believe in themselves and build lasting self-esteem. The session also highlighted the importance of support systems — including family, peers, and educators — in fostering emotional resilience and growth.</p>
