Central Coalfields Limited’s CSR initiative CCL Vidya Saathi-2026 was launched at CCL Lal Hostel, Gandhinagar, Ranchi. Simultaneously, the initiative was also launched at all 10 DAV Training Centres located in CCL’s command areas.

Under CCL Vidya Saathi-2026, 400 students will receive free JEE/NEET training and guidance for two years. The initiative will provide subject-specific training by expert faculty, study materials, digital learning support, regular tests and assessments, and continuous academic guidance. The programme aims to help talented students prepare for national-level competitive examinations and pursue their career aspirations.

Ten DAV training centres in CCL’s command areas have been selected for the initiative. These centres are located at Kuju, Barkakana, Dhori, Giridih, Rajrappa, Kathara, Ranchi, Argada, Hazaribagh and Piparwar.

At the Ranchi centre, 60 students have been selected for the programme. The selected students, along with their parents and guardians, attended the inaugural programme. The students expressed enthusiasm about their future and their preparations for competitive examinations.

On the occasion, Director (Human Resources) Harsh Nath Mishra and Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of CCL Pankaj Kumar addressed the students. Mishra encouraged them to pursue their goals with hard work, discipline and persistent effort. Pankaj Kumar emphasised that with proper guidance, consistent practice and self-confidence, students can achieve their aspirations.

General Manager (CSR) SS Lal, General Manager (Welfare) Sanjay Kumar Thakur, representatives of the National Computer Saksharta Mission (NCSM) and faculty members of CCL Ke Lal and CCL Ki Ladli, along with other CCL officials, were present at the programme.

The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with the National Computer Saksharta Mission (NCSM) as part of CCL’s CSR efforts to provide quality training and guidance to talented students in its command areas for national-level competitive examinations such as JEE and NEET.

The programme seeks to expand access to quality educational opportunities for talented students from diverse economic and social backgrounds.

Through its CSR and educational initiatives, CCL continues to focus on promoting the welfare of communities in its command areas and supporting students through training, education and career guidance. Such programmes are aimed at expanding opportunities for students and their families while contributing to long-term social and educational development.
