<p>In a significant step towards fostering youth empowerment and financial inclusion, NTPC Limited Vindhyachal successfully concluded its 38-day <strong>Assistant Bookkeeper Training Program</strong> under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The program was conducted in collaboration with the Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Singrauli.</p>



<p>A total of <strong>35 participants</strong> underwent comprehensive training designed to build strong foundations in modern accounting and digital finance. The curriculum included modules on <strong>Tally, GST, billing &amp; invoicing, digital filing, basic computer applications, banking systems, digital payments</strong>, and awareness of <strong>government financial schemes</strong>. Participants were also introduced to <strong>entrepreneurship and business management</strong>, preparing them for both employment and self-employment opportunities.</p>



<p>The initiative aimed to equip local youth with <strong>industry-relevant digital and financial skills</strong>, aligning with the broader vision of Digital India and enabling participants to pursue sustainable livelihoods.</p>



<p>The <strong>valedictory ceremony</strong> was attended by <strong>Mahtab Alam</strong>, DGM (CSR/R&amp;R), NTPC Vindhyachal, and <strong>Vijay Kumar</strong>, Director of RSETI Singrauli. Both dignitaries felicitated the participants with certificates upon successful completion of the program.</p>



<p>Addressing the gathering, Alam emphasized that <strong>computerized accounting skills are key enablers of self-employment and financial independence</strong>. He highlighted that skill development is a lifelong asset that not only strengthens individual capabilities but also contributes to the <strong>socio-economic upliftment of families and communities</strong>.</p>



<p>This initiative reflects NTPC Vindhyachal’s continued commitment to <strong>inclusive growth, skill development, and community empowerment</strong>, reinforcing its role as a socially responsible PSU driving grassroots transformation.</p>

<p>Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) today launched the nationwide cleanliness campaign “Swachhata Hi Seva – 2025” with enthusiasm and active participation at its headquarters. On this occasion, Director (Human Resources) Harsh Nath Mishra and Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar administered the Swachhata Pledge to officers and employees at the Gangotri Convention Centre, motivating them to adopt cleanliness in their homes, workplaces, and surroundings.</p>



<p>A large number of officers, departmental heads, and employees joined the initiative and reaffirmed their commitment to the cause of “Clean India, Healthy India.”</p>

<p>Marking a significant CSR initiative, a Mobile Blood Donation Van was also inaugurated during the event by the Director (HR) and the CVO. The van will facilitate blood donation drives at CCL headquarters and other locations, supporting healthcare access for communities.</p>



<p>Following the formal launch, CCL employees, including senior officials, participated in Shramdaan (voluntary labor) at the headquarters premises, reinforcing the spirit of cleanliness. To safeguard the well-being of sanitation workers, CCL also organized a special health camp, offering medical check-ups and counseling.</p>

<p>Speaking on the occasion, Mishra and Kumar urged employees to make cleanliness an integral part of their lifestyle and transform the campaign into a people’s movement.</p>



<p>This initiative reflects CCL’s strong commitment to the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s ‘Clean India, Healthy India’ mission, while simultaneously strengthening community health through its CSR interventions.</p>
