Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) is organising a free medical camp on heart diseases at CCL Central Hospital, Gandhinagar, Kanke Road, Ranchi, on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 9:00 am onwards.

As part of the camp, Dr. Rajiv Rathi, a renowned Senior Interventional Cardiologist from Max Hospital, New Delhi, will examine patients suffering from heart-related ailments and provide expert medical consultation and advice.

The camp is open to all patients with heart diseases. Participants are advised to carry their previous medical records, test reports, or prescriptions, if available, to enable accurate evaluation.

CCL regularly organises specialised health camps for various ailments by inviting eminent doctors from across the country. These initiatives aim to provide quality and advanced medical care to needy families close to their homes, ensuring wider access to treatment and benefiting the maximum number of people.

Participants underwent blood sugar and blood pressure screenings, followed by consultations with specialist doctors who provided medical advice and preventive care tips.

General Manager (Administration) Mr. Arpan Ghosh graced the event as the Chief Guest. Dr. Abhijit Kumar, Hospital Incharge, Mr. B.D. Singh, APM, along with other BCCL officials and staff, were present at the occasion.

In his address, Mr. Ghosh emphasized that the true strength of any organization lies in the health, dedication, and efficiency of its employees. He added that BCCL remains deeply committed to the well-being of its workforce, continuously striving to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

The objective of the camp was to raise awareness about lifestyle-related diseases, promote early detection, and encourage preventive healthcare practices among employees and the local community.
