<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Demonstrating the efficiency of its healthcare system, doctors of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) successfully saved the life of a 22-year-old youth who was bitten by a venomous snake through prompt medical intervention and coordinated treatment.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Lokesh Kumar, son of CCL employee Bhuneshwar Munda, was rushed to CCL&#8217;s Central Hospital, Dakra, immediately after the snakebite. The medical team acted without delay, administering the required dose of Anti-Snake Venom (ASV) and initiating emergency treatment to stabilize his condition.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="699" height="1024" src="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/IMG-20260709-WA0046-699x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-31122" style="width:840px;height:auto" srcset="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/IMG-20260709-WA0046-699x1024.jpg 699w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/IMG-20260709-WA0046-205x300.jpg 205w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/IMG-20260709-WA0046-768x1125.jpg 768w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/IMG-20260709-WA0046.jpg 874w" sizes="(max-width: 699px) 100vw, 699px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Following the initial treatment, Lokesh was referred to CCL&#8217;s Central Hospital, Gandhinagar, for advanced monitoring and specialized medical care.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Doctors at Gandhinagar Central Hospital kept him under close observation for two days. Owing to the timely administration of anti-snake venom and continuous monitoring by the medical team, his condition improved steadily. He has now made a full recovery and is being discharged from the hospital.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The successful treatment highlights the preparedness and capability of CCL&#8217;s healthcare infrastructure in handling medical emergencies. Equipped with modern facilities, experienced doctors, and round-the-clock emergency services, CCL&#8217;s hospitals continue to provide quality healthcare to employees, their families, and the communities living around its operational areas.</p>

The company also expressed confidence that these young achievers would continue to excel in their academic and professional journeys.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full is-resized"><img decoding="async" width="544" height="680" src="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/HKTEqF3bsAAbWdL.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-31041" style="width:840px;height:auto" srcset="https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/HKTEqF3bsAAbWdL.jpg 544w, https://indianpsucsr.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/HKTEqF3bsAAbWdL-240x300.jpg 240w" sizes="(max-width: 544px) 100vw, 544px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The “CCL Ke Laal” and “CCL Ki Laadli” initiatives have been instrumental in providing quality academic guidance, mentorship, and opportunities to talented students, enabling them to compete at the highest national level. The latest achievement further reinforces the impact of these programs in shaping future engineers and leaders.</p>
