BCCL Organizes Free Diabetes and Hypertension Checkup Camp at Regional Hospital, Bhuli

Participants underwent blood sugar and blood pressure screenings, followed by consultations with specialist doctors

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) successfully organized a free health checkup camp focusing on diabetes and hypertension at the Regional Hospital, Bhuli. Over 200 beneficiaries participated in the camp and received complimentary medical tests, counseling services, and lifestyle guidance.

Participants underwent blood sugar and blood pressure screenings, followed by consultations with specialist doctors who provided medical advice and preventive care tips.

General Manager (Administration) Mr. Arpan Ghosh graced the event as the Chief Guest. Dr. Abhijit Kumar, Hospital Incharge, Mr. B.D. Singh, APM, along with other BCCL officials and staff, were present at the occasion.

In his address, Mr. Ghosh emphasized that the true strength of any organization lies in the health, dedication, and efficiency of its employees. He added that BCCL remains deeply committed to the well-being of its workforce, continuously striving to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

The objective of the camp was to raise awareness about lifestyle-related diseases, promote early detection, and encourage preventive healthcare practices among employees and the local community.

BCCL’s Medical Division regularly organizes such camps to foster a culture of health consciousness within the organization and its surrounding areas. The event witnessed active participation and cooperation from doctors, nursing staff, technical personnel, and administrative officers. Participants appreciated the initiative, calling it a significant step toward promoting public health and wellness.
