Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) organized a free mega health check-up camp through its Jan Arogya Kendra at Gandhinagar in Bhitha Basti, Ranchi, on Thursday, March 12, 2026. The initiative was aimed at providing accessible healthcare services to residents of the area.
During the camp, 141 people underwent medical examinations and received free consultation from specialist doctors. Various health tests were conducted free of cost, including hemoglobin, blood sugar, and hypertension screening, along with diagnosis for other common ailments. Free medicines were also distributed to all patients who attended the camp.
The camp was organized under the supervision of Dr Bharat Singh, CMO In-charge, Gandhinagar, along with Dr Preeti Tikka, CMO and CSR In-charge. The medical team included Dr Anita Horo, Dr Rajni Kujur, Dr Swati, Dr Shilpi Jha, Dr Saim, and Munna Kumar Singh, supported by dedicated paramedical staff who played a crucial role in the successful execution of the camp.
Local residents appreciated the public welfare initiative undertaken by CCL and expressed hope that more such health camps would be organized in the future to benefit underserved communities.
