CCL Jan-Arogya Kendra, Gandhinagar Successfully Organises Free Mega Health Check-Up Camp in Ranchi

Post-checkup, beneficiaries received free medicines as prescribed by the doctors

The Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) Public Health Center, Gandhinagar, successfully organized a free mega health check-up camp at the Srijan Valley School, Ambatoli campus, Ranchi, on Friday, November 28, 2025. The initiative was conducted under the guidance of CCL Director (Human Resources) Mr. Nilendu Kumar Singh and the direction of CCL Director (HR) Mr. Harsh Nath Mishra.

A team of specialist doctors carried out detailed medical examinations for 254 local residents, offering essential health consultations, lifestyle recommendations, and preventive healthcare information. The camp provided free hemoglobin, blood sugar, and hypertension tests, enabling early detection of common health risks. Post-checkup, beneficiaries received free medicines as prescribed by the doctors.

The primary objective of the health camp was to raise awareness about preventive healthcare, ensure early diagnosis of diseases, and make medical services accessible to residents in and around the Ambatoli area. Doctors at the camp stressed the importance of regular health examinations and offered guidance on managing health issues such as anemia, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

The event witnessed the active involvement of the CSR Department, CCL General Manager Mr. S.S. Lal, CMO-cum-CSR Incharge Dr. Preeti Tigga, along with Dr. Shashikant, Dr. Deepali, Munna Kumar Singh, and the entire para-medical and health staff, whose collective efforts ensured the smooth and successful execution of the camp.

CCL reaffirmed its commitment to public welfare and community health initiatives, emphasizing that similar camps will continue to be organized to support the well-being of local communities.
