Reinforcing its commitment to community well-being, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Cauvery Basin, Chennai, has supported the renovation of the OP Ward and Labour Ward at the Mallankinaru Primary Health Centre under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The project, completed in February 2026, has significantly upgraded healthcare infrastructure at the facility, improving access to essential medical services for nearly 20,000 people from largely agrarian communities in and around Mallankinaru, located in Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu.

With enhanced infrastructure and improved service delivery capabilities, the Primary Health Centre is now better equipped to provide safe maternal care, outpatient services, and critical medical support closer to patients’ homes. The renovation is expected to reduce dependency on distant urban hospitals while strengthening grassroots public health systems.

Through sustained collaboration with government healthcare institutions, ONGC continues to invest in accessible and quality healthcare for rural India, reaffirming its belief that strong communities and healthy citizens are vital to national progress.
