Nihilent, a global consulting and technology services company, is significantly expanding its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) footprint through impactful initiatives in education, healthcare, and inclusion across underserved communities in India. Anchored in its philosophy of human-centric progress, the company is leveraging technology, infrastructure, and strategic partnerships to address critical societal gaps.

In the education sector, Nihilent has enhanced access to digital learning at the Bhatkya Vimukta Jati Shikshan Sanstha (BVJSS) residential school in Pune. The initiative includes the establishment of a fully equipped computer laboratory with internet connectivity, alongside the introduction of a structured digital literacy curriculum. This effort is empowering students from nomadic and economically vulnerable communities with essential skills for a technology-driven future.

The company has also upgraded living conditions at the BVJSS campus by developing modern sanitation facilities and supporting essential needs such as nutrition and medical supplies. These interventions have improved hygiene standards, reduced health risks, and enhanced the overall well-being of students.

Commenting on the initiatives, L.C. Singh said, “At Nihilent, our approach to social responsibility is deeply rooted in our belief in human-centric progress. We see technology not just as a business tool, but as a powerful enabler of dignity, opportunity, and inclusion. Through our efforts in education and healthcare, we aim to touch lives in meaningful ways by helping children learn, grow and thrive, regardless of their circumstances. Our commitment is to create lasting impact by empowering communities and ensuring that no child is left behind.”

In healthcare, Nihilent is supporting pediatric cardiac care through its partnership with Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospitals in Navi Mumbai and Yavatmal. The company has contributed advanced medical equipment, including anesthesia machines and ICU monitoring systems, enhancing the hospitals’ ability to deliver safe and effective surgical care.

Additionally, Nihilent is facilitating life-saving pediatric cardiac surgeries for children suffering from congenital heart disease, enabling economically disadvantaged families to access world-class treatment at no cost.

Further strengthening its commitment to inclusion, Nihilent has partnered with Ayodhya Charitable Trust. Through the provision of digital hearing aids, specialized educators, and computer training support, the initiative is improving communication abilities, increasing classroom participation, and enhancing learning outcomes for hearing-impaired children.

Arya Omnitalk, a leading provider of safety, mobility and communication solutions, has launched ‘AryaVan’, its flagship agroforestry-based Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at long-term environmental sustainability and rural community development.

The initiative envisages the plantation of 1,00,000 trees over the next few years, with a dual focus on ecological restoration and creation of sustainable livelihood opportunities for farmers. The project was inaugurated with the plantation of nearly 2,000 saplings, implemented in collaboration with local communities, farmers and on-ground NGO partners.

Conceived under the leadership of Mr. Paresh Shetty, CEO, Arya Omnitalk, AryaVan reflects the company’s belief that technological progress must go hand in hand with social and environmental responsibility. The initiative will focus on tree plantation, sustainable farming practices, soil and water conservation, and long-term income generation for rural communities.

Speaking on the initiative, the company said that AryaVan represents the “green heart” of Arya Omnitalk, extending its core commitment to safety and resilience beyond technology to nature and society. The programme emphasises systematic plantation planning, ecological visibility, and continuous monitoring of saplings throughout their growth cycle to ensure high survival rates and measurable environmental impact.

Designed as a sustained ecological programme rather than a one-time CSR activity, AryaVan includes structured maintenance mechanisms with farmers and community groups acting as custodians, thereby ensuring year-round rural income opportunities.

AryaVan is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly climate action, sustainable communities and responsible consumption. It also complements national initiatives such as the Green India Mission and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, reinforcing Arya Omnitalk’s commitment to environmentally responsible and inclusive growth.

Through AryaVan, Arya Omnitalk aims to build a participative green movement involving employees, customers and partners, contributing collectively towards a more resilient and sustainable India.
