In line with NTPC’s commitment to holistic development and capacity building, the Northern Region Headquarters (NRHQ) organised a two-day Public Speaking and Anchoring Workshop for students of NTPC stations. The workshop, held at EDC Unchahar, focused on enhancing communication skills, articulation, and stage confidence among school children from Classes VIII to X.

The programme was inaugurated virtually by Goutam Deb, RED (North), in the presence of Samiran Sinha Ray, RHOHR, NRHQ. The sessions were conducted by The Lead Navigators and featured interactive activities, demonstrations, and personalised mentoring on essential aspects such as articulation, expression, body language, and voice modulation.

A total of 28 students and their teachers from NTPC Unchahar and NTPC Tanda enthusiastically participated in the training. Participants were given opportunities to speak on selected topics and received individual feedback aimed at improving diction, clarity, and confidence while addressing an audience.

The workshop reflected NTPC’s continued efforts to nurture young talent and encourage self-expression, creativity, and leadership among students of its associated schools.
