In a remarkable display of resilience and social responsibility, ONGC Assam Asset has continued its relief operations for flood-affected communities even as its own offices and residential colony have been impacted by the ongoing floods in Assam.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, ONGC Assam Asset distributed essential food items and medicines to families affected by the devastating floods, providing much-needed support during the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

Despite facing operational challenges caused by inundation of its own facilities, the organisation remained steadfast in its commitment to serving the communities in and around its operational areas. Employees of ONGC Assam Asset joined hands to ensure that relief materials reached affected families in a timely manner, reflecting the PSU’s dedication to standing with the people during difficult times.
The relief initiative underscores ONGC’s long-standing commitment to community welfare and disaster response. By prioritising humanitarian assistance even while dealing with the impact of floods on its own infrastructure, ONGC Assam Asset has demonstrated the spirit of compassion and corporate citizenship.
The initiative highlights the vital role played by public sector enterprises in supporting communities during natural disasters, reaffirming ONGC’s resolve to contribute to relief and rehabilitation efforts whenever the need arises.
