Free Dental Check-up and Treatment Camp Organized at BCCL Central Hospital on 51st Foundation Day of Coal India Limited

During the camp, over 124 patients were examined and treated for various dental issues

To mark the 51st Foundation Day of Coal India Limited (CIL), the Dental Department of Central Hospital, Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), organized a free dental check-up and treatment camp today. The special health initiative aimed to provide quality dental care to BCCL employees and members of the local community.

During the camp, over 124 patients were examined and treated for various dental issues. The event focused on not only offering treatment but also spreading awareness about oral hygiene, preventive dental care, and the importance of regular dental check-ups.

The camp was conducted under the able direction and inspiring guidance of Dr. Bandana, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Central Hospital. It was led by Dr. Manjari Singh, Head of the Department of Dental Surgery, along with Dr. Ritesh Kumar Jha and their skilled medical team. The team emphasized that proper oral health practices can help prevent several diseases and improve overall well-being.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Bandana highlighted that dental health is a vital component of general health. She added, “Regular dental check-ups not only help maintain oral hygiene but also enable early detection of various other ailments. The objective of such camps is to extend free dental services and spread awareness about the importance of oral health.”
