SECL Strengthens Healthcare Services with Advanced Hematology Unit in Bilaspur

State-of-the-art diagnostic facility and HMIS portal to enhance medical efficiency and CSR-driven healthcare delivery

In a significant boost to healthcare infrastructure, Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines Satish Chandra Dubey inaugurated a state-of-the-art 5-Part Hematology Analyzer Unit at the Indira Vihar Health Centre in Bilaspur, operated by South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL).

Advanced Diagnostic Capabilities

The newly installed hematology analyzer enables:

  • 5-part differential testing of white blood cells
  • Accurate detection of infections and diseases
  • Faster and automated diagnostic processes
  • Minimisation of manual errors in reporting

This advanced system significantly enhances laboratory efficiency, ensuring quicker and more reliable medical reports for patients.

Boost to Healthcare Infrastructure

During his visit to the health centre, the Minister reviewed medical facilities and appreciated SECL’s efforts in delivering quality healthcare services.

The initiative aligns with SECL’s broader commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure in coalfield regions under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) framework.

Digital Healthcare Transformation

Complementing the infrastructure upgrade, the Minister also launched the Hospital Management and Information System (HMIS) portal, aimed at:
