A free cataract screening and lens implantation health check-up camp was successfully organised on January 22, 2026, at Jan Arogya Kendra, Gandhinagar, under the aegis of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL).
The camp witnessed an encouraging response, with 127 people undergoing free medical examinations. Out of these, 30 patients were diagnosed with cataracts and have been assured free surgical treatment at Gandhinagar Hospital. In addition, other beneficiaries were provided with necessary medicines, while free haemoglobin, blood sugar, and hypertension tests were also conducted during the camp.
The successful organisation of the camp was made possible through the dedicated efforts of doctors and healthcare staff, including Dr. Rajkumar (CMS, CCL), Dr. Bharat Singh (CMO, Gandhinagar Incharge), Dr. Preeti Tigga (CMO, CSR Incharge), Dr. Anita Horo, Dr. Rajni Kujur, Dr. Ambrish, Dr. Asima Tigga, Dr. Neetu Singh, Dr. Priyanka, Dr. Letgaugi Munna Kumar Singh, along with the entire paramedical team.
CCL continues to strengthen community healthcare outreach by organising such health camps, reaffirming its commitment to providing accessible and quality medical services to people in its operational areas.
