
NTPC Limited’s Vindhyachal unit marked a significant milestone in its skill development journey with the inauguration of the Mukhya Mantri Seekho Kamao Yojna (MMSKY) annual internship program at RLI Vindhyachal.
A flagship initiative of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, the program commenced with the onboarding of 24 enthusiastic trainees. The initiative is aimed at bridging the critical gap between academic learning and industry requirements, equipping youth with practical skills and real-world exposure.
The inaugural session featured a warm welcome followed by an engaging orientation, offering trainees valuable insights into the diverse learning avenues and professional opportunities that lie ahead during the internship.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Debasmita Tripathy, AGM (RLI Vindhyachal), emphasized the growing importance of skill development in today’s competitive environment. She lauded the proactive efforts of both the Government of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh in driving youth empowerment initiatives.
Highlighting NTPC’s first-time implementation of the MMSKY program, Dr. Tripathy reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to nation-building through structured skill development. She encouraged trainees to make the most of this opportunity by continuously upgrading their competencies and imbibing NTPC’s core values.
The onboarding process was successfully facilitated with the support of Shri Shyam Lal, Principal of Government ITI Pachaur, and Shri Om Prakash Vaishya, TPO of the institute.
The event witnessed the presence of senior officials, reflecting NTPC Vindhyachal’s strong commitment to nurturing young talent and creating meaningful career pathways for the youth.
